7.5 Tonne Driver/ Van Driver

Legion Express is looking for a reliable 7.5 Tonne Collection and Delivery Driver to support the continued growth of our depot in Nottingham.

As a Collection and Delivery driver with Legion Express you'll be the face of our company so you will need to be passionate about delivering 1st class service to our customers. You will also need a flexible outlook, a friendly personality and a smart appearance. You will responsible for:

Making multiple collections and deliveries in and around the local Nottingham area using a Mercedes sprinter and then using a 7.5 tonne vehicle to drop into several local depots

Working to time critical deadlines and set collection times- Averaging 20 collections a day

Ensuring we provide a service to customers that is second to none

Keeping & maintaining regular records & journey details

Warehouse work during loading and offloading

To be considered for this role you must have:

A valid C1 License for 7.5 tonner. good communication skills, a can-do attitude and customer focused approach. The ability to prioritise and work on your own initiative when under pressure.

Prior collecting and delivery driving experience is not essential

A clean licence and basic administration skills would be preferred

Shift Patterns and Days

Monday to Friday 13:00- 20:00pm

£12.00 Per hour

Expected start date: 01/11/2021
